Garlic Parmesan Truffle Wings

Garlic Parmesan Truffle Wings

Ingredients:

  • 2 lbs chicken wings, flats and drums separated

  • 1 tbsp baking powder (for extra crispiness)

  • 1 tsp salt

  • ½ tsp black pepper

  • ½ tsp garlic powder

  • ½ tsp smoked paprika

Garlic Parmesan Truffle Sauce:

  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter, melted

  • 4 cloves garlic, finely minced

  • ½ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese

  • 1 tbsp white truffle oil (adjust to taste)

  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, finely chopped

  • Zest of 1 lemon (optional, but adds freshness)

Instructions:

  1. Prep the Wings:

    • Pat the wings dry with paper towels to remove moisture.

    • Toss wings in baking powder, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and smoked paprika. This helps with crispiness.

  2. Cook the Wings:

    • Air Fryer: 400°F for 18-20 minutes, shaking halfway through.

    • Oven: Bake at 425°F for 45-50 minutes on a wire rack over a baking sheet, flipping halfway.

    • Deep Fry: Heat oil to 350°F and fry for 8-10 minutes until golden brown and crispy.

  3. Make the Sauce:

    • In a pan over medium heat, melt butter. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant (about 1 minute).

    • Remove from heat and stir in Parmesan cheese, truffle oil, and parsley.

  4. Toss & Serve:

    • Toss the crispy wings in the warm garlic Parmesan truffle sauce.

    • Sprinkle extra Parmesan on top and serve immediately.
